02 / Tech & philosophy

Engineered with intent

Three principles guide every decision we make, from the first sketch to the release build.

Performance

Fast is a feature. We profile on real, mid-range devices rather than only the newest flagship, and treat launch time, smooth scrolling and battery use as requirements.

  • Fluid interfaces at 60 to 120 fps
  • Quick cold starts, small downloads
  • Offline-first data handling

Clean code

Typed, tested and modular codebases that stay easy to change. Maintainable software ships updates sooner and breaks less often, which is what users actually feel.

  • Strict typing from end to end
  • Automated tests on every change
  • Few dependencies, each one justified

Privacy first

We collect only what a feature genuinely needs, and ideally nothing at all. Your data belongs on your device, not in an advertising profile.

  • No ad or tracking SDKs
  • On-device processing where possible
  • Built in the EU, GDPR by design
